I am an incoming Research Scientist at Google DeepMind. I am about to complete my PhD in Statistics at the University of Oxford, supervised by Yee Whye Teh and Jakob Foerster, where my research focused on Reinforcement Learning, Meta-Learning, and Large Language Models.
Previously, I was a Machine Learning Research Intern at Apple and SamayaAI, and a Software Engineer at Meta working on Applied Machine Learning. I hold a First Class MEng in Computer Science from Imperial College London.

My primary research interest is the intersection of Meta-Learning, Reinforcement Learning and Large Language Models. My past work has focused on automated discovery: from meta-learning shaped reward functions and robust Inverse Reinforcement Learning algorithms, to improved objectives for offline LLM Preference Optimization, and most recently, interpretable IRL through code evolution.
